Volunteer with WCSS
WCSS volunteers are now eligible for our credit program. For every hour worked receive a $5 credit for the WCSS Re-Use-It Centre. Credits must be used the day of the shift when volunteering at the Re-Use-It, and within a week in all our other programs.

Canadian Cancer Society
Marketing and Communications Leader -
Do you have a passion for communications, marketing and promotions, great community contacts and a love of writing? If so, your outgoing personality will help raise awareness and promote the Canadian Cancer Society’s events, fundraising campaigns and prevention messaging in the Whistler/Pemberton area. The time commitment is approx. four hrs/wk over a one year term.
Secretary -
Are you well organized with strong communication skills? Do you have secretarial skills including typing and computers? If so, join the Canadian Cancer Society and work closely with the Whistler/Pemberton Unit Executive to set meeting dates, distribute agendas and take minutes at monthly meetings. The time commitment is approx. two hrs/wk over a one year term.
Community Support Volunteers -
Are you outgoing and enjoy meeting new people? Do you want to make a difference in your community by supporting a variety of interesting program, cancer prevention and fundraising initiatives for the Canadian Cancer Society? If so, join our team of volunteers in the Whistler/Pemberton area as a Community Support Volunteer. The time commitment varies depending on community activity over a one year term.
CancerConnection -
Are you a cancer survivor at least one year post-treatment? If so, the Canadian Cancer Society is looking for peer support volunteers to provide one-on-one support on the telephone with the option of in-person visits to people living with cancer. The time commitment varies over a minimum one year term after training is completed.
