Access to Justice*: WCSS helps unite financially restricted individuals with a local lawyer to provide consultation on criminal, family law and money issues. Learn More
   
Community Greenhouse Education Program*: We provide expertise and information to community groups anywhere wishing to start their own Community Greenhouse program. Learn More
Community Kitchens: Join a professional chef to learn how to make nutritious, low cost meals. $10 a session or free to those financially restricted. Learn More
   
Community Resources*: You can't do it all! Heres a listing of other community resources available. Learn More
Counseling Assistance Fund*: We help financially restricted individuals access a private counselor for $35-$50 an hour. Must be approved by a member of the Outreach Team. Learn More
Drug & Alcohol Education Program: Under the Outreach Umbrella, the School-Based Drug & Alcohol Education Program teaches over 100 classes a year in the Whistler Schools.  We also take the education process to the community at large. Learn More
Emergency Financial Assistance*:One-time financial assistance is available for Whistler residents who have been here more than 3 months and are experiencing a crisis that is affecting their immediate health and well being. Learn More
 
 
 
Food Buying Club: The food buying club is currently on hold.  Access bulk, wholesome groceries at cost in an online buying club format Learn More
Food Bank: The food bank assists individuals in need on the first and third Monday of every month. For in-between time emergencies contact 604-932-7717 Learn More
 
Helping Hand Volunteer Assistance*:Busted up? Our volunteers are available to assist people who are house-bound due to illness or injury. We also offer support to new mothers. Learn More
Interim Housing Project: Seasonal arrivals who have a job and a plan can obtain temporary housing to allow time to find accommodations for the season in Whistler. Learn More
Jim Cook Community Greenhouse Program:Community members can rent a garden box in one of the WCSS Greenhouses to grow their own organic veggies for $60 a season. Supplies included. Learn More
KidSport: KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sports. A maximum bursary of $300 is available. Learn More
Outreach Services: Includes Youth Outreach, Seniors Needs Action Planner (SNAP), Community Outreach, Drug & Alcohol Education programs in School and Community and features programs like Welcome Week and Interim Housing. Find out more about our Outreach Team! Learn More
Parent Infant Drop-In*:An informal FREE weekly drop-in for parents and their babies hosted by the Whistler Public Library on Thursdays from 11:00am-12:30pm.  Guest speakers are featured twice a month and a public health nurse is available to answer questions. Learn More
Parenting Single (PS)*: Are you a single parent? This provides an opportunity for single parents to meet, socialize and connect with local resources in the community. Held once a month at the WCSS offices. Learn More

Peer Educators Program: Young adults in the community become resources for their peers by taking training and working with the Outreach Team!

Santa's Helpers Christmas Hampers: Adopt a family in need and give the gift of Christmas! If you are a financially restricted family who could use some Christmas spirit contact santashelpers@mywcss.org Learn More
Seniors Needs Action Planner (SNAP)*:The SNAP coordinator works as an advocate for senior's issues in the community, and offers outreach for individuals in need! Learn More
Support Network of Whistler (SNOW):A certified life coach offers a FREE 8 week life skills program to individuals in need.  Must qualify with an Outreach Worker. Learn More
Social Programs and Services Chart*:We put all the Sea to Sky Resources in one spot, copies are available at many locations including the WCSS offices in Spruce Grove. Learn More
   
Tax Assist*: Financially restricted individuals can receive aid in completing their simple tax return.  Learn More
 
Welcome Week Dinner:The highlight of Welcome Week, this dinner joins local table hosts with new Whistler arrivals.  Eat well and learn more about your new community! Learn More
 
Whistler Survival Guide:Published every year, the Whistler Survival Guide offers practical advice and resources to make the most of your time in Whistler. Learn More
